A stream flowing underneath a canopy of aspens. The rushing water could be heard from a distance but it was hard to find due to the thick overgrowth. Standing on the steep slope, I was almost certain that I (or my camera) would end up in the water. Fortunately I stayed dry and managed to capture a sharp image, no thanks to the wind that was blowing...
About Anthony Michael Bonafede
At a young age I was fascinated with cameras and the image making process. In my development, I became more observant of light and learned to create images that matched my vision. Thirty years later I still feel the need to create and share this vision. I do spend a lot of time looking up, clouds that produce filtered light and shadows that rake across a scene is what draws me to landscape photography. Yosemite and the Sierra Mountains are special places for me, there is no shortage of amazing moments and grand landscapes.
